## One inverter for solar generation and storage

Fronius Symo GEN24 10.0 Plus SC connects three-phase photovoltaics to a high-voltage battery system. Its 10 kW rating describes the standalone inverter; the connected battery determines stored energy in kWh. Daytime generation can serve the building and charge storage for later use. Selecting panels, inverter, battery and installation components separately makes it possible to design a system for the actual roof, solar carport and operating pattern of a home or business.

## Two MPPTs for an array up to 15 kWp

The two independent MPPTs accept 28 and 14 A, with three string connections arranged as 2+1. Model 10.0 supports an installed PV array up to 15 kWp. The upper table distinguishes installed array power from the DC power the inverter can process. String design considers module voltage, current and temperature effects. Maximum DC voltage is 1000 V, the usable MPP range is 80–800 V and the rated-power MPP range is 246–800 V. Panel selection and string orientation can therefore be matched to the actual electrical design.

## Battery selection based on voltage and communication

The battery input operates at 160–700 V and up to 22 A, with a maximum DC power of 10300 W depending on the connected battery. The datasheet lists Fronius Reserva, BYD Battery-Box HVS/HVM and HVS+/HVM+, and LG FLEX; the current manual also describes Fronius Reserva Pro. Selection includes the actual capacity configuration, supported firmware and communication profile. A shared connector alone does not establish interoperability. The battery and its controller are selected separately and their current capability is compared with the required charging and discharging power.

## PV Point and three-phase Full Backup

PV Point supplies a basic single-phase backup circuit at up to 3000 W, with a standard switchover time of approximately 15 seconds. For PV Point operation without a battery, the manual specifies at least 150 V from the PV array. Full Backup uses a suitable connected battery, Fronius Smart Meter and external grid-separation switching components. Standard switchover takes approximately 10 seconds; the current manual also describes a rapid-switch mode subject to system configuration. Backup circuit design considers total power, phase loading and short motor starts. The table distinguishes continuous ratings and five-second peaks.

## Open interfaces for energy management

An integrated datalogger and web server are complemented by WLAN, Ethernet and two RS485 interfaces. Integration options include Fronius Solar.web, Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec and the JSON-based Fronius Solar API. Digital inputs and outputs connect energy management and ripple-control equipment. A Fronius Smart Meter supports self-consumption and export management, while appropriate components such as Fronius Ohmpilot can extend the system. The technical overview identifies interface supply voltages, signal levels and output-current capabilities.

## IP66 construction and detailed installation documents

The wall-mounted unit measures 595 × 529 × 180 mm and weighs 22.8 kg. IP66 protection and a declared ambient range of −25 to +60 °C support suitable indoor and outdoor installation following the manual. Active cooling controls airflow through the unit. Integrated functions include DC isolation, insulation measurement, residual-current monitoring and AFCI arc detection. Locally hosted downloads provide the exact datasheet and original manual, including the connection area, communication, cable cross-sections and backup switching diagrams. Battery, module and protective-device conditions are assessed separately.
