Capacity in Ah and energy in Wh

1920 Wh of stored energy and 500 W of pure sine-wave output in one SunC TALOS SCTL-500W-1920Wh portable station. An internal battery, inverter and charging electronics form a complete source for home use, travel and suitable working equipment. The 230 V AC output is complemented by USB and Type-C connections, with mains charging up to 500 W and solar input up to 500 W at 12–60 V DC. A colour LCD provides the operating overview, while Bluetooth and WiFi enable app management including remote output switching. SunC specifies a 10 ms UPS transfer time, intelligent air cooling, 95% depth of discharge and at least 8,000 cycles at 25 ± 2 °C, 0.5 C and EOL 80%. The enclosure measures 278 × 373 × 145 mm; separate tables describe the complete input, output and battery specifications. Nominal voltage, capacity in ampere-hours and energy in watt-hours describe the battery together, with each value serving a different purpose. Voltage identifies the electrical class of the connected circuit, Ah describes capacity at that voltage, and Wh describes the energy reserve. For an initial assessment of operating duration, the wattage of the intended loads can be considered alongside the stored energy. The nominal energy figure characterises the battery itself; the resulting supply duration also depends on the operating pattern and the wider system. The upper tables therefore keep all three quantities separate and link them to the exact model. This supports both an initial size comparison and the detailed preparation of a particular installation.

Temperature ranges for each operating state

The manufacturer data separates charging temperature from discharging temperature. For this family, charging is specified from 0 to 50 °C and discharging from −20 to 60 °C. Keeping the two operating states separate preserves the meaning of their respective values and supports planning for the battery environment. Combined with the electrical specifications, these figures create a coherent technical reference: voltage and current for the connected equipment, capacity and energy for the intended reserve, and temperature for the corresponding operating state. The product Markdown follows the same structure so electrical and environmental values remain linked to the exact version when information is shared.

A complete reference for selection and planning

The product page brings original specifications, actual photographs and application information together. The SunC catalogue is hosted directly on Batterado, and the downloadable product Markdown contains the technical table and description in the selected language. It can be used for comparison, project records or coordination with an installer. System preparation considers the voltage class, required energy reserve, charging values and current capability together with the way the circuit is intended to operate. The exact model identity stays attached to that information from the first selection through a price enquiry and further technical planning. This keeps the chosen configuration easy to communicate within the wider energy project.

Current ratings and system power

Energy capacity is one part of battery selection; charging and discharging current are equally important for matching the power equipment. The standard charging current describes the regular charging operating point. The maximum charging current defines the upper charging rating, and the maximum discharging current describes the battery's current capability when supplying the connected equipment. Each value has its own row in the technical table. This allows the charger and inverter settings to be coordinated with the selected battery version and intended load. Voltage multiplied by current describes electrical power at a given operating point, whereas energy capacity relates to the available operating duration. Considering both together helps create a balanced system with an appropriate energy reserve and a current rating suited to its intended demand.

Battery reserve for repeated cycles

SunC specifies new Grade A cells, at least 8,000 cycles at 25 ± 2 °C and 0.5 C, with an EOL 80% criterion. Depth of discharge is 95%. These values describe the portable station battery and provide a reference for comparing its energy reserve. Inverter output power and input charging power are considered separately. Keeping these quantities distinct supports choosing a model for the intended load and operating pattern.

Battery and inverter in a portable station

TALOS combines a internal battery, inverter and charging electronics in one portable unit. It provides an energy source for use at home, while travelling or with working equipment within the power rating of the particular model. The AC output is rated at 230 V with a pure sine waveform. Power in watts describes the supply section, while energy in watt-hours describes the capacity of the internal battery. Each model lists these two values separately. The photograph extracted from the manufacturer catalogue shows the actual station's front operating panel, display and side socket area. One enclosure brings together functions that would otherwise occupy several separate devices within an energy system.

Charging from the mains or from solar

The station can charge from the AC mains or through its photovoltaic input. SunC lists maximum mains charging power separately from the solar input values: a 12 to 60 V DC operating range, a maximum voltage of 60 V and model-specific current and power ratings. These values provide the basis for choosing a matching photovoltaic array. The output section includes AC sockets and the low-voltage connections listed in the table, including USB and Type-C. This makes the portable station a shared energy point for equipment with different supply connections. The technical layout separates AC output, AC charging, solar input and internal battery values so each operating section can be considered on its own.

Colour display, wireless control and UPS

The front colour LCD provides the local operating overview. SunC also specifies Bluetooth and WiFi with app management, including remotely switching the output on or off. Intelligent air cooling adjusts heat dissipation to the operating load. The manufacturer gives a 10 ms transfer time for the UPS function and an instantaneous peak output of twice the nominal power. An internal BMS manages the built-in battery. The result is a compact portable energy unit combining storage with local and wireless controls. Dimensions and gross shipping weight for each version appear in the upper specification tables alongside the remaining manufacturer values, keeping both the electrical capability and physical format attached to the exact model.
