Description

16 kWh LiFePO4 battery for a matched photovoltaic system

SEPLOS MASON-280-N is a complete 51.2 V LiFePO4 battery with 314 Ah nominal capacity and 16.077 kWh nominal energy. It is chosen for a low-voltage photovoltaic battery system together with a compatible inverter, DC protection, cables and a commissioning plan. The inverter is selected separately for the project; it is not included with the battery.

This page applies to the current 314 Ah MASON-280-N revision. A similarly named older MASON-280 document in the supplied file set covers a 280 Ah configuration. Its electrical figures, current limits and certificate claims are not used for this product.

Verified model identity

The locally hosted MASON-280-N EMC report identifies the tested battery as 51.2 V, 314 Ah and 16.077 kWh. The local IEC 62619:2022 and RoHS certificates identify the same model. Read the EMC report, IEC 62619 certificate and RoHS certificate on WodaTherm™.

Energy, power and expected use

Nominal energy describes the battery class, not a guaranteed number of hours for a building. Available energy and power depend on inverter limits, allowed battery current, temperature, state of charge, cable design and the selected circuits. A battery does not generate electricity and does not by itself make every circuit in a property a backup circuit.

Inverter compatibility

For parallel operation, use matching battery models and compatible firmware. The inverter operates with the supported CAN or RS485 profile and the battery system’s electrical limits.

Stackable cabinet for a technical battery room

The horizontal cabinet is intended for a stable, non-combustible base in a dry and ventilated technical space that meets the supplied documentation and applicable electrical-installation rules. Its form factor can support a structured multi-battery layout, but final spacing, fixing, protection and service access belong to the installation design.

BMS and active balancing

The BMS monitors the battery block and communicates operating limits to a compatible inverter. Active balancing supports cell-voltage equalisation.

Planning and delivery

Capacity and power are planned together from expected demand, required backed-up circuits and realistic PV generation. The inverter rating, protective devices and conductor sizing follow from that design. See solar batteries and battery storage or contact WodaTherm™ with the inverter model and installation brief. Final allocation, delivery access and the supplied revision are confirmed with the order.
